pc bench case made from extrusions

I just found out about a special kind of motherboard "case".

It's just a bunch of 20 x 20 aluminum "rexroth" style extrusions with some extra hardware. The link shows a 12 inch by 8 inch form factor. I want a bigger one. I found the extrusions and endcaps by themselves, but I've looked for the extra hardware bits that let you assemble a "case".

Does anyone know where I can buy the feet, motherboard standoffs, and whatever gizmo holds the cross members to the main extrusions?

I guess I need specific names of these parts that will fit in the grooves of the extrusion.

I've looked at the "see other items from the same seller" for a bunch of these and come up empty.

Anyone have any leads?

Yeah thanks, I guess I should have cast a wider net. I didn't think that 20mm extrusions were rigid enough for a 3D printer so I never looked.

I'm building my EPYC  case that eventually become 'closed' rather as OP's link.

The standoff is pairing with an insertion nut keep MB and cards in place and aligned.
The few pieces a rubber slot cover been cut off and fitted into slots, hopefully avoid any potential vibration from PSU.

Still in progress and need to decide on a cover material - very likely a perforated mesh except a polycarbonate panel on back-side.

I now know that 10 and 15 means 1.0 and 1.5 inches, and 2020 is 20mm. So I can order all kinds of brackets and thingies on ebay but it gets expensive in a hurry, more than the value of the electronics I planned on plugging there.

Ehhh.. there are so many little things.

For example, a bracket - do you want cheapest one or with option to cover it... or with threaded hole to be able to attach a panel later... endless options, I would say

If you after a decor and profile will expose to a public, 4-slot might be not ideal, 2-side looks much better




Anyway, I would suggest to draw what are you planning to build and count all required parts, helps a lot.
