FAULTY ASUS U31F LAPTOP BATTERY

Hi there! I have a Asus battery that holds ABSOLUTLY NO CHARGE AT ALL! Is it worth pulling apart and replacing the
faulty cells? And, whats the chance of finding out the pin-outs of this battery, or should I just replace it? - costs between
$35 and $95 for a new one.Thanks Simon.

Open it and measure the cell voltages.
Then try to charge the individual cells with a low current (a few mA)
until it reaches 3V. Wait some days and see if they hold charge.
If they hold charge, charge with a higher current until full charge.
