They removed the floppy headers at all from all revisions of this (very common) board..

The manual explicit says to use a USB flop to install RAID drivers on it...

Get a USB one. Nothing is backward compatible for ever.

2x for the external USB flop adapter..

The internal floppy drive bay costs more and will have almost no use...
apart installing such legacy drivers..

There are also floppy to USB adapters.  Example is Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/KOOBOOK-1-44MB-Floppy-Connector-Adapter/dp/B07WCRF9H3/ref=asc_df_B07WCRF9H3/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=546144295672&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12630386695336765447&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9015391&hvtargid=pla-1431147603546&psc=1 ).  No experience with it so cannot recommend.  Cheaper adapters may be available.  Edit: Written before seeing concurrent posts.

The floppy per se mounts in the case, not on the MB.  The rest plugs onto the floppy.  Be sure you have the proper power cable adapter too.  Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/SATA-Power-Cable-Adapter-Floppy/dp/B000RH171M?th=1  or you might find everything in just one adapter.
