how to scan magazines?

The usual method of scanning magazines is to cut off the binding and run the pages through a sheet feed scanner. It does destroy the original magazines but unless they are very rare I think this is a reasonable sacrifice to end up with unlimited digital copies.

Th thread is 2 years old, I doubt it is relevant anymore.  It was brought up by the spammer that now was banned.
