Dears,

someone could show me how to upgrade the mentioned notebook
via bios patch to use larger SO-DIMMS for RAM extension then 8GB.

The used 16GB RAM SO-DIMM's that I insert let the NB not boot.
Black screen and blinking tab-key and and the num-key.

Any hints or tweaks on this issue.

I'm now comparing the FW packages of G2, G3 and G5
zBooks available at HP page in the hope to find a SO-DIMM
arch/type class list inside the binary.

HP ZBook 15 G2 Mobile Workstation ==> sp96754.exe (Updated: 2019-05-29)

Many thanks in advance for any useful help.

Markus

After some investigations I found that i7-4(9,8,7)10MQ CPU's are desinged only
for 32GB of RAM. Is this a knockout creteria for my ram expansion wish due to
missing address lines on the cpu die?
