Firefox 69 and bookmarks

Is it just me, or Firefox, since version 69 (I'm currently on 69.0.1), on Windows (7/64), now requires to hit CTRL-D *twice* (almost every time) to get a page bookmarked, the first occurence doing nothing? Never did that before 69.

All I can say is I had some performance (crashing) issues with 69.0.1 on Linux that I initially cured by backreving Ffox but they seem to have cleared since I upgraded the Linux kernal to the very latest.
