Loss of Microsoft Office
« on: October 15, 2024, 02:27:49 pm »
I lost Microsoft Office because of a virus on my computer, now I want to activate a new one, but I can't figure out how. Is there a site with easy activation of Microsoft services?

would be nice to know  witch version of office you're talking

2003 2007 ...  2013 2016  365  2021 ??

you do know  you have the right and the bad ways (KMS),  you can also buy licences on officials sites

office 365 licences are given by administrators,    it should reactivate with your credentials ...  mine (365)  does ?
i install it in demo on computers upgrades.

Hello, there are now many sites that can help with the activation of Microsoft services. I was looking for a newer version of Microsoft Excel and from many sites I chose [malicious link removed] kms tools download precisely because of the simple activation in the click decoder, as well as for the large selection of Microsoft services. I was also pleasantly surprised that it was free.

I copied and pasted kripton2035's link into Google and this came up:

https://setup.office.com/?ms.officeurl=setup

Maybe that will help.

A while back, after somebody asked, I did an experiment with the KMS Win7 activator in a VM under Linux. It installed all sorts of nasty sh*t, needless to say, the VM got deleted! Your system is contaminated.

It installed its components, all of which are flagged as what's called PUP - Potentially Unwanted Program (and of course the ever vague 'generic' detection). None of that implies any sort of nasty behaviour. Of course, where you obtained the tool from is anyones guess.

Regardless, this entire thread is nothing but an arranged block of spam to post a link to such a tool, which, unlike the 'legitimate' ones which do not advertise, will be looking to profit somehow.

well if you are not able to find the genuines too  .....  loll

or even keep the genuine cd dvd case / package  sticker somewhere  ....   or uses  specific legal software to backup all activation numbers,   like Os, Ms office and many others ...

things like this may happen again,   now the banned op  has to be careful,    if a next time happens

even i  had some problems,    a ssd died at my job, office 365 with tons of cloud related features, even getting back on the network and getting my activation back, it was a nightmare to redo  all the share-point accesses ... rebuilt onedrive  ....

Recently I got a flyer delivered through snail mail offering all Microsoft software licenses at an 85% discount.  :P Rumour has it you can get these licenses cheap through Ebay as well.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office

No key?

I would say this is an exceptional chance to finally get acquainted with LibreOffice and never look back :box:
