Connect OS X Yosemite to MacBook Air

Can a MacBook Air M2 2022, connect to a iMac OS X Yosemite v10.10.5, mid 2011?

I’m looking to view the MacBook Air on the larger 27” screen and wondering if it can be done.

Target display mode exposes a "normal" video endpoint, unlike what apple says:

With an appropriate video output adaptor from the [insert other computer model here] it generally "just works".

or you accept the network traffic and use your preferred VNC/Remote Desktop etc.
