Recommend me a 2-in-1/ tablet convertible laptop.

My previous daily use Samsung NP550P5C laptop lasted a long time, the battery was replaced 2/3 times and it saw daily hard use. But alas the keyboard is missing keystrokes and the screen is slowly dying so the time has come to get something new. I've been taken with the the 2-in-1 or book/ table like folding laptops, one of these would allow me to retire the tablet I occasionally use.

So what's good and what's not so good?
Looking for really long battery life, 14 or 15 inch screen.

Take a look at Lenovo's Yoga series. I have a 4-year-old Yoga 14 which I'm very pleased with.

Any specific experience with the Yoga series?

The Yoga 7i looks good value with big battery life etc.
But then there is the Yoga 9i which is high priced, basically double the price of the 7i for the 15" version me looking at the Lenovo site.
Also there is the thinkpad Yoga which is in between the 7i and 9i in price.

Art oriented daughter has a C940 with the UHD screen, i7, 16GB/1TB

Good build quality, outstanding display, very usable pen with internal dock.

Your wallet might disagree though

I have bunch of Yoga running 24/7 mostly.  The first thing to fail is the nvme.  Lenovo business support is ok but it is hard to find parts for the Lenovo.  I mostly need to ship the Yoga back to Lenovo for them to fix it.

I also have a bunch of HP Folio and Elitebook running 24/7.  They have parts sold everywhere and the HPs are very easy to take apart to replace the parts.  All the parts are replaceable.  HP has very good support.  They have documents and videos to show you how to replace the parts.  I can ship them back or just replace the parts myself.

Thinkpad X1 Yoga. I only use ThinkPad if I get to choose.

I've had three issues with my Yoga 14:

1. A BIOS update bricked it. I reported on the Monday and had it back by Thursday. Very impressed with the speed.
2. After 3 years, the battery finally gave up. I replaced it myself.
3. After multiple attempts, Windows Update refused to update to a major version which would have left me unsupported. Lenovo sent me a new SSD and a thumb drive with a new install image. But I managed to get it to install in the end. I said I'd ship back the SSD and thumb drive but they didn't seem to care. There was no charge (financial, not battery!) so now I have a spare SSD + installation media.

One of must-have features for me is the TrackPoint stick. I cannot abide touchpads and are one of the first things I disable.
