secure motherboard bios

with this i mean..are there any computers where simply removing cmos battery wont reset or remove all bios security?any recommendations any good motherboard or computer what has theys protection features?

Laptops typically do that and some professional "workstation" PCs marketed primarily to businesses.

That being said, it's kinda moot in most situations. Normally nobody can easily take apart your machine and reset the BIOS, but if somebody can and is determined to do so, he might as well replace the motherboard with his own.

If you want to protect your data, use disk encryption.

Thinkpads, have secure boot and they keep BIOS passwords in other than BIOS chip locations making it difficult to break security. The day of removing CMOS battery to erase passwords is mainly over.

Consumer desktop motherboards which you can buy separately usually don't save password into flash. And IMHO it's pointless feature. If you can open computer to erase CMOS, nothing stops you from stealing data directly from disk. IMHO it only causes problems later when password is forgotten/lost or computer sold to someone.
