« on: February 07, 2021, 12:23:28 am »
so im having a problem where i load a game up play for maybe a 2 or 3 mins then the screen goes black and pc restarts
the temps on the computer are fine could it be the tv im using for the pc screen causing the problem? i don't think its as pc runs fine

it only happens when i play games never happens when im using the vega 11 to playback video or encode video ect

i even have stress tested the cpu and vega 11 pc never restarted ive also tested the ram ssd and hdd all are fine im at a loss

Probably the PSU thinking it is being overloaded (whether it actually is or not) and dropping out momentarily.

That behavior is fairly common in failing power supplies.

What TV is it, and how are you connecting to it ?

Did the same setup/TV, use to work perfectly, or has it NEVER worked with games like this ?

It happens typically when things like PSU are overloaded and drop
the power to the point of restart.

Also when the the game insists in doing weird GPU clocking
and it is not well written enough to detect proper limits.

Improper overclocking the GPU will probably trip overload

May try first decreasing the game specs to minimum..
or else trying other games.. to spot the culprit

How TV could even possibly cause PC restart? Did you reinstall GPU driver? Also try updating motherboard bios, try using lower RAM speed.
