This is my best so far :

At work I currently have one station running Ubuntu 18.04 non stop since before CV19 breakout (Oct 2019) and in the past I had quite a few running for multiple years without restart. It is a thing in *nix world.

Simon:
There is this story of a linux machine that was boxed in by builders whilst running. It was on the network and ran for years but no one know where it was until some more building works were done.

Of course, I shut down my PC every day but a Windows network device has been up 114 days. Would have been more but that's when we had our last power event that shut everything down.

That's Windows 2000. I am 100% sure it will keep going until the next power cut or other catastrophic network event.

David Hess:
Back when we tried to use Windows 2000 for network services, we found a resource leak in the IP stack which required a weekly reboot.  Microsoft refused to fix it, and suggested installing more memory so that it would take longer to run out of resources.

On my current Windows 10 systems, I typically have to reboot every week, except for my 64GB system which lasted almost a month once.  Meanwhile my FreeBSD systems only have to be rebooted if the power fails, something breaks, or the ice machine leaks water on them.  They are much more reliable than every cable or DSL modem I have had for the past 20 years, and most consumer grade network hardware.
