Win10 flasher
« on: January 20, 2021, 09:55:32 am »
When I start my desktop (Win10 Pro) all starts normally. However, after I log in and the desktop appears there is a flash of pop-up that is so quick I can't see what it is. I'm sure it's fine but I'm curious.

Is there any way to slow things up so that I can see it?
You can release yourself but the only way to go is down!

Yep just record a video of the screen at 60 fps and then examine it frame by frame. At least one of the frames will catch the popup.

If it still shows up too breifly on perhaps a slow pixel response time monitor, then set the wallpaper to a solid color, will make it easier to make out the text if it gets captured between frames.

If it's an error popup, it might be logged in the Event viewer. SO it might be worth having a look in there.
