Win10 audio volume changes

I recently upgraded to an Dell Optiplex 7020 i5 machine with Win10.  I'm using the built-in audio for now.  I find that pausing and then playing a YT video in my browser (FireFox) will increase the audio volume noticeably.  What is going on?
