Windows Home 10 1903 update Struck this morning

<< < (2/2)

Black Phoenix:
The outlook file normally is hosted if it wasn't changed in:

drive:\Users\[user account name]\Documents\Outlook Files.

Inside there should be a .PST or .OST file with the account name. Just copy that file and all emails, calendars, contacts, etc should be safe.

In Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or earlier, these files are saved in a different location in a hidden folder at drive:\Users\[user account name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

That's the default config for the files. If not just search the HDD for all files including hidden ones with *.pst AND *ost

Thanks for the information

SiliconWizard:
With Win 10 2000 update, you'll be greeted with a "All your base are belong to us" at the login screen.

Thanks everyone, After copying the C-drive & skipping a few files because of the FAT32 file system that needs to be changed,  Windows 10 was manually downloaded & restored the system to normal . :phew:

Now to set up some restore points...
