To be honest when I saw the first post numbers I hesitated and wondered if I should reply with the code. On one hand it will bring potential new forum members on the others it may kill the discount over time.

Browsing back through the previous pages was what made me post a comment, there are a number of users that are still at one post.

Maybe something like "if you have less than 50 posts, tell me the name of Dave's favorite movie" could work.  That would include fans that aren't necessarily that active on the forum.

I just had a shipping update, it was pushed from Jan 5 2015 to Dec 16 2014. In theory some people could get a pre Xmas delivery. I ordered last week so who knows.

Mine is not a present, I always keep the interesting stuff for myself.

I remember the hype around the TDS-220, but this Rigol one is just nuts in comparison. I bought one of the TDS-220 ones when it was released and was amazed at what they did. It too had some teething problems. I think it was a ground strap or something.

Anyway I will use this scope but do I really need it? No, but I really want to try it out and that means it must sit on the bench.

I hope Rigol does really well with it and that will encourage more to follow suit.

Someone is going to have to come up with a "good" name for the hype Rigolmania 1054Zombies or some other stupid phrase.
