Wow, Jay, that was DEFINITELY a score!  Rare and doubtless insanely expensive if purchased new.   :-+

Great score, don't you just love it when you find a deal like that on something obscure?

Mine was a Tektronix TDS3054 in the works auction for about £70 a couple of years back. It was in cosmetically good condition but the display was dimming.
It didn't take me long to work out how to reprogram the EEPROM in the module slot to unlock all options :)
It still works great now.

Poor attempt on taking a panorama of a few things I acquired today and a picture of some stuff I got a few weeks ago.

I think there is about 50 scopes here..

Those look to be in great condition, Sue. That pulse generator certainly has a clean user interface.

The pulse generator was built here in SanDiego I love the case and knobs. All aluminum anodized and V-honed to give the flat look.
The scope is going to have to be re-capped, there is quite a bit of jitter in the triggering circuit. I think the pulse generator also needs a bit of work.

I have tow Tek 475s in the garage both not working, one was a parts mule to get a third 475 working The other one in the garage is in fairly good shape and has a DM-44 attached to it.

Not sure why I had been wanting a Simpson 360, but I finally got one for pretty cheap off that auction site. Silk screen lettering is falling off and the bakalite case has "oxidation".

Just so happened that there was also an auction for a NOS front panel that I got for a great price.

The meter works, but needs new battery terminals as they were destroyed by the leaked acid from the cells.

The case will clean up pretty quickly and easily with some Mother's Aluminum Polish.

My God... How did that happen? Are you starting a surplus store?

You sure know how to make people jealously hate you, right from the start.

Bought a Lecroy DDA-3000 (aka WavePro 7300a?) on ebay for 900US$ + Shipping. Seems to be a pretty nice scope, but makes much more noise than the TDS754D/TDS7104 i had before...

At the local Ham Radio Swap Meet I picked up this jewel, for a reasonable price.

Needs a bit of cleaning up.. We shall see how it goes.
When I get back from the store, I'll have to go locate the manual....
Like Dave says....

Nice find, Sue. Usually those hp probes permanently disappear, unless they cannot be removed.

Great, and I'll ad to that what I got for $5 each at the local 1st Saturday sidewalk sale.

An HP 427A Voltmeter and an HP 209A Oscillator. They both seem to work, but need a lot of cleaning up. The 427A has a broken knob.  :(
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

Nice Score.
I had a chance several years back to get one of those oscillators for next to nothing due to the fact it needed a power transformer. The unit still worked fine, the owner ran it off a split 15 Volt supply.
