Hi Sandra, you can not use the GT-8031F for the Symmetricom Syncserver since exists 1024 week rollover problem, the GPS date is incorrect, so the sync LED of syncserver will always be red, you can use the Furuno GT-8736 or Synergy M32, I tested each GPS card and have all of them.
