Kitting up with SMD components

Hello.

Looking to start having some SMD components stored... how do these do? Think they will be OK for IC's (Static?) I may want to keep BGAs / QFPs etc.

For passives/diodes/trannies on a piece of reel i'm keeping everything in a file holder... there are specific sheets for components but i'm a cheapstake and used one for ye olde photo film.
With one file holder i can go with more than 200 rows

I've also put ICs in there, in their (antiststic?) Reel piece

You'd be fine with the storage boxes you linked for passives, though it can be a PITA trying to fish a part out and not dump the rest all over the bench. As per ESD, they actually make the small ones that are ESD safe (here).

Cut tape in a binder or full reels are easier to deal with IMHO, as you can peel back the top as you need parts. Which ends the contents getting spilled all over the place.  ;D Can't do this with everything, but quite bit of stuff can be stored this way.

Which reminds me I need to order a couple more.  I have a pile of 10 or so already.  (And a few other kinds, but have found these superior.)

Anti Static only means the don't build up a static load themselve, they don't shield the content from outside ones.
If you want so store sensitive parts, you should get ESD shielded ones.
