Anyone here ever own a Motorola I850 or similar?
« on: August 12, 2014, 02:56:07 am »
Got a few of these phones, from the telus network from someone I know, two working, two not, one had quite a few dead pixels on the screen so swapped it out.

Anyways, these things apparently have a two way radio, with a 6 mile range, however I can't get the darn thing to work, I have no clue how to do it or enable it. I was hoping maybe someone here remembers how.

Go to this site and download the manual

page 24 (page 35 including index of pdf)

Hope this helps  :)

Ah cool, the manual I found was much shorter than this. I don't think these ones have mototalk installed though :/ I have driver discs but no USB cables as far as I know, though I have four of both the wall plugs and car chargers, maybe I could wire it up. These do have two way radio in the settings though, strange
