Exactly, you can use a SDHC card with a SDXC device but not the other way around.

   Did you search on line?  I don't know anything about The Kodak camera but I used an OLD mini-SD card in an adapter in my new EM-1 and it worked fine until I could get more update hi-speed SD card. HOWEVER every camera/ memory card speed test that I've seen shows that those mini and micro SD cards were significantly slower than the current fast SD cards so I went with a new card since the EM-1 will shoot pictures at 10 shots per second and also HD video.  They weren't expensive, I bought two very fast 16 Gb Samsung cards from E-bay for $16 including postage.  At that price it's not worth the time and trouble to use an old card of any type.

   BTW I still have an old Sony Mavica that uses 3 1/2" disks. It still works and the battery still holds enough charge for a 2 hour shoots.
