Inexpensive SBC for low cost SDR receiver?
« on: June 30, 2021, 01:03:00 pm »
Are we at the point yet where any of the cheap SBCs with a built in ADC could act as a cheap HF receiver?

Say receiving up to a couple MHz? Maybe with its own ADC or an external ADC?

I am wondering if it might be possible now to make a small cheap standalone SDR to use as a general purpose shortwave receiver?

??

If you don't need to look at a lot of bandwidth at once, find one with a decent audio input and add a Tayloe mixer in front of it.
