I think the aspect ratio would annoy the heck out of me. I'd rather lug around an array of portable monitors and a NUC than something like this if I /need/ a portable workstation.

Why couldn't Asus just make the main screen taller?

It would probably be pretty annoying to use this thing at a desk, seeing that you have to move your head up and down all the time, except if you look at your keyboard all the time anyway.

But if one where to lay down or sit at an angle with the laptop in once's lap it could become pretty useful.

As a workstation, there could be a tab with console, complication report and logs, calculator, to-do list etc.

But for the price, probably not!

I'm guessing this is Asus's answer to Apple's crappy Touchbar. Just make it bigger.
