esp32-arduino rmt bi directionnal
« on: May 27, 2020, 07:25:00 am »
Good morning,

I started to develop a prototype of flight controller based on esp32.
https://github.com/netmonk/esp-ecp code is here.

Currently im using gpio and rmt library to send dshot600 frame to control an esc and a motor.

The transmission is currently one way from esp32 to esc.
dshot protocol is a bidirectionnal protocol, where each dshot command sent from flight controller can request a telemetry answer from the esc, sharing the same wire.

i would like to know if someone ever succeeded to use esp32 rmt library in dual way. it seems possible following the official documentation, but it seems far too advanced to have a official guide from esp32 forum.

i try my chance here, may be someone have some piece of code to share :)

thank by advance.
