AOYUE Int 852 Hot Air Station
« on: May 04, 2019, 01:27:59 pm »
In case who someone hears a continuous small buzz with the station being connected to the outlet socket but in a power off state, then change the C11 ceramic capacitor. Its value is 10 nano @ 1000 Volt DC.

I live in Europe so my model is 220 V AC type.

In mine I had also change all these jerky Chinese electrolytic capacitors, in order to achieve somewhat more stable operation.

It's not ceramic but film capacitor. Also it seems that you replaced 1000V cap with 400V cap with twice of capacitance. If this cap is under 220V AC, then 400V DC rating is too small, should be at least 630V or X2 safety cap.

Yes you are right is type film capacitor. As for the picture is only to see the point.

I have replace mine with a new of 10 nano @ 275 Volt AC
