iPhone 7 question on audio ic
« on: October 23, 2019, 04:21:28 am »
I have this iPhone 7, it boot loops. There is no shorts on the bb power chip so after more looking could it be the audio ic? There's a small chip in the edge of the ic, I'm not sure if it was there before or if I accidentally chipped it. Would recalling or reflowing the chip potential fix it, am I missing something, would I need to jumper one of the pins, could I buy a new recalled one? If anyone knows anything about iPhone 7 repairs I would gladly take advise. Thanks

Still troubleshooting but on other news. i fixed a MacBook air with a short on pp4v something or other. It ended up being a clump of capacitors that were shot.
