Rigol DP832 "Temperature too high" error
« on: July 10, 2020, 04:54:00 pm »
Lately my Rigol DP832 power supply refuses to operate. After turning on any one of the channels, after a few seconds I get error message "temperature is too high, disable the out" and the output is turned off. This is with no load and with fan spinning as normal.

Anyone encountered this and fixed it? I've poked around to see if I can find any obviously disconnected or damaged thermocouples with no luck. I've also tried disabling OTP but that seems to have no effect.
