Scam warning(?) - TVRepairKits.com (service manuals)

Following some helpful advice here about repair my CRT TV, I decided to track down a copy of the service manual. I found fragments here and there but I wanted to whole document. I was willing to pay a few dollars.

I ended up at http://www.tvrepairkits.com and duly paid $9.95. After taking my money, they sent me a download link that gives a 404 page not found error.

I've contacted them multiple times in multiple ways and have not heard anything from them.


Maybe there's a legitimate reason but I decided to flag this here.

I found a few pages about the service menu settings. I had a lot of fun fiddling around with them

Hopefully you were smart enough to pay by a method that allows you to file a dispute. e.g. Credit card or Paypal

[edit]Removed direct link.[/edit] Get the Mk1 magnifying eyeballs out for this though as the diagrams are tiny! It isn't too bad if you zoom in 300% though.
