trying to find "LT1155" datasheet?
« on: July 09, 2016, 07:38:36 pm »
Hello,
i have a problematic glowplug preheater module that i'm trying to reverse-engineer to see the problem it has and i find a Linear tech. 8-pin SMD dual mosfet driver(it is after all driving two mosfets independently) that i can't find ANY info!.

chip has the LT logo then 525 and below it "1155I" (or it could be a lowercase L)

all i can find is the LT1158 which is a half-bridge driver to load a single load, but in this one each mosfet is driving a separate bank of glowplugs

Could it be LTC1155?

Could it be LTC1155?

doh!, i forgot that LT also had LTC in the name, y'know what, it does look like the correct chip eyeballing the PCB, there are some differences as it's not driving the gate directly(it has some sort of network of transistors or diodes in those sot23 unreadable packages) and there are no current sense resistors(it's driving blind, it's only sampling voltage output).

gah why couldn't they stick to the reference design!
