Best amp tube for low rf output

Hello, i am looking for suggestions for what tube i should use in my linear amp project. I have some radios that have a max of 30-40watts and id like to make a legal limit amp for them. I have all the other bits and pieces figured out except for which tube/ tubes to use. Im looking for a tube with a decent price and is readely available that can provide that kind of power. I was also looking to use GM3SEK’s controle board which can be used on either a triode or a tetrode. Amp will be used for 1.5mhz to 30mhz. Might even go to 50mhz while im at it. I have looked online at designs but id rather have other hams opinions.  Any and all suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks AC8WP

Main costs are a safe HV setup and the cost of known good vacuum variables, but a tube is a lot more forgiving than a semiconductor

I could probably use 2 gs32b tubes. I was thinking of coppying this build.  http://jetpropulsion.co.uk/gw0fzy-amateur-radio/gs35b-hf-linear-amplifier . It uses 1 gs32b but requires 85w drive to provide 900w. I could use 2 i guess and double the output with 30-40w drive.
