TDS3014B upgraded to 600MHz
« on: November 11, 2020, 09:37:59 am »
Hi all, sorry but, for now that´s only a clickbait to ask.

I have a TDS on sight, but it have encoder problems... (works ok, but there are repaired and could fail again)

The price for the TDS is good, but it isn´t for the replacement board (to make it new)
I have oscilloscopes at work so I don´t need more than 100-200 MHz at home.

The question is...

What would you pay for something like that?

It´s for calculate how much I can spend on it.

The instrument is in good condition and I will upgrade it to 3064B, add tek probes (TPP0200 and P6139A) and run a full 600MHz calibration/adjustment at work (Metrology center, it could be traceable certified)

If somebody is interested, please tell me what will you spend for that.
Seeing ebay I´m thinking about 800-1000 as it is or go up with a brand new board. (350-450 bucks)

US$ 20-30 would be sufficient for a quality encoder.

Thanks for the clickbait, NOT.

Thanks for the answer, but NOT.

These aren´t normal encoders mounted ONboard, these are INboard
