guys can't decide Siglent SDL1200-XE or Rigol DL3021A

Hey mates,

my friends can't decide between Rigol DL3021A or Siglent SDL1020X-E, guys want LAN/IO, so far we can't find any DIY LAN/IO (LAN is a must, IO at the moment is not written in stone), Rigol wants 89eur for LAN option, thus buying DL3021 w/o is not an options.
thus we have a few questions:
1. how is Siglent X-E compared to DL3021A in terms of performance,  bugs, stability
2. can Siglen X-E be upgraded to fully fledged X model
3. maybe there is "free upgrade option o to make DL3021 into DL3021A including DIY LAN and I/O boards
4. also we can't figure out if LAN and I/O HW is installed in all non A DL3021 and its only software option or non  A model is missing hardware, shops don't want to explain it, but they say you must inform them if you need LAN/IO options before buying non A model or they won't be able to upgrade it later on....

EDIT: forgot to mention, guys are interested in characterising their custom PSUs, Lion Battery packs, and BMS
EDIT2: Rigol DL3021 + LAN and I/O upgrade costs the same as DL3021A

The SDL1020X-E can't be upgraded officially, and so far, there hasn't been any unofficial upgrade that I know of.

There are a few threads on the forum that discuss the two loads, and several more that discuss the Rigol load as it has been around for longer.

The Siglent load's max current is 30A vs the Rigol 40A.  Rigol has faster max slew rate.  Rigol has .1mA readback resolution vs 1mA for the 1020X-E.

No need to DIY when the hardware is already there, A and non-A are the same.

Last Q can rigol D3010 be hacked to D3010A?

The DL3021 can fairly easily be turned into a DL3021A. I've done it!
