Wrong tool for job. Get a cheap Salae (Aliexpress?), hack together your own decoder.

Sorry for sounding harsh (as I think abt buying a HP 16702)...but their plugin system really is what the situation calls for. Don't fook around decoding by hand, it IMHO simply isnt worth it for a gadget the Red Chinese will gladly send you for 35€.

P.S. I have this one, bought it almost a year ago as SWIMBO was whine whine whine whine whine want want want want want, never regretted it:

I don't see why it's the wrong tool for the job at all.

I spent a few minutes setting up your traces in the Analog Discovery Digital Pattern Generator using a spreadsheet (see attached).

One caveat when doing decodes on this scope is to take care on the acquisition settings such as memory depth and sample rate, or the scope will appear to be quite unresponsive. Certainly I'd recommend not to do live real time decodes on it until you're aware of the limitations in this regard, and instead capture first then turn on the decode.

Here is the setup I used.

Howardlong, thanks!
I also realized how to adjust encoding spi for my signal.
It works very well!
I wonder if other software for the analysis of protocols for the oscilloscope, if neither of which set does not fit...

I don't think so unless you want to roll your sleeves up and do it yourself with user defined functions perhaps. I have come across this before, for example 1-wire is not at all well supported by any scope manufacturer, and unlike SPI and I2C it can be quite challenging to decode by eye. I have a bus pirate for that although some years ago I did write my own 1-wire to RS232 decoder on a PIC, but it was just barely good enough for my needs: sometimes that's all you need though!

Howard, I bow my head in respect to you.

* TAMHAN has been in software for years....so for me, everything is a coding problem at first. Sorry :palm:.

Re: Agilent HP 54831D advice ==> PCI Device Driver error

 :)
Hi..
I also installed win98, but the PCI Device Driver does not work properly.
Is there no way?

The photo shows the installed version.
This is a driver error in XP.

Do you have photos of your motherboard and ACQ board?
And I don't understand what is your problem? Did you have a scope with win98 and reinstalled to winXP?

Thank you for your answer.
When I first purchased it, sw ver 2.41 was installed in Win98. It works well.
I installed this with WinXp on a new HDD.
After installing SW 5.71, all drivers were installed automatically, but only the PCI Device caused a problem (exclamation mark in the device manager in the photo).
An installation error occurs with the 548xx.vxd file. (Photo attached)

I installed WinXp Pro Sp3.
The motherboard is the original VP22.
I will attach a photo of the ACQ board.

The photo is
    SW execution error after booting
PCI DEVICE exclamation mark in Device Manager
    PCI DEVICE error status
    DRIVER INSTALLATION
Install HP548XX.VXD --> Installation error   ==> I think this file does not fit XP.
    board pictures

help Me....

It seems like, you installed just clean Win XP and separate Agilent drivers and a scope software. You might be did something wrong.
I sent you the Agilent Win XP HDD image. So, use, HDD Raw Copy Tool.
There are two partitions = the master and the factory recovery. Push and hold left CTRL button, turn on the scope and make factory recovery. After this the scope should work correctly. You need the factory recovery because the master partition contains the copy of 2 channel 54830B with calibration data. This calibration data will not work with your 4-channel scope.

The ACQ = the big board on the bottom side of the scope. I  asked about this photo..

Thank you very much.
I tried booting Win XP... recovered it with Recovery... and installed SW 5.71 on it again.
It works very normally. I'll have to do the calibration tomorrow.

And eevblog said that you can save the option by doing the xdelta patch.

xdelta3-3.0.11-x86_64.exe -d -s agScope.exe delta agscopeNew.exe

I ran it like this, overwritten the changed New file, and ran it...
Option only comes out as 0.

Please tell me how to save this option ^^

See your PM.

-------------

If you have the 1 generation of the ACQ board = you can enable only 8Mpts per channel, if the 2 gen = 64Mpts.
The 1 gen has TQFP DRAM ICs, the 2 gen has more modern TSSOP DRAM ICs. You can share a photo of your ACQ.

You can enable 1G bandwidth via disordering 1 resistor. I'm sure, you already found this information.
