HAMEG 103-2 Problem
« on: February 25, 2016, 06:49:07 pm »
Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to electronics, so I bought used Hameg 103-2 as my first oscilloscope, and this is what happens when I change Volts/Division (video).

Also, when I set to 20V it smells weird, not like burning, but something similar.  :-//

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Products like Deoxit are normally used to clean the gold contacts in the V/Div selector.
Sometimes just "exercise" of the selectors will clean up the contacts.

Wait until the "Get Manual" link appears, then click to download.
