About a "criminal complaint made by a private individual".
Helsingin Sanomat did note in it's full article that the person making the complaint also made one to Finanssivalvonta, the financial regulator in Finland.
This means that he should have legal whistleblower protection and thus cannot be fired for doing so.
So we'll see how things go.

But the Donut & NNG statement boils down to "The complainer is not part of the battery technology group, does not know anything about batteries and is not an investor in either companies.".

In the latest episode of the Donut circus, we get data on how the batteries swell during charge and discharge cycles.
Which is apparently 4.4%. I have no frame of reference if that's high or low.

How do we know? Any guesses how much investor money they hogged? How well have they hidden the money against lawsuits from disgruntled investors? How well have they covered their assess, e.g., if someone needs to go to jail, it will be some scapegoat while the owners are free to go and fetch the money they hid?

Of course the cow is dead now and can't be milked anymore. But it might still have been a very successful operation. We don't know.

The obvious conclusion is that they never had any (interesting) specs to release.

All their PR videos from January to May were about rev one of their battery. They didn't release the specs and rev one passed. Now their on rev two. The only option is getting a battery from their motorcycle and I don't know anyone doing that.

Ok, after a little research it does appear the Nut Lab folks are themselves just doing what others have been doing for a long time. Hype your alpha products as a "selling now" item.

They all do it. A strategy to get your money before the product actually reaches full spec capability. It's a bad approach IMHO, but perhaps no different than pressing the buy button in your fav equities trading app.
