Hello everyone.
Noobie in electronics here.
I have a Uni-T UT61E+ and I would like to, if possible, upgrade the two fuses.
I have been searching and I have two references, and could use advice.

Fuses are 6.3 × 25.4 mm

For the 1A fuse I am considering a Eaton Bussmann reference 1123029 @ Farnell France
For the 10A a Eaton Bussmann C180-10, reference 1123030

Links are :

Are those proper ones ?
They are fast acting, ceramic and seem of proper quality.

Thanks.

Upgrade a fuse??
Why would you do that?

Been told the ones that come with the unit are not as good as they could be

They are not an upgrade. They're just usual UK specific mains plug fuses. If you actually have such in your multimeter, the only upgrade would be if you replace the sockets with ones used in better protected version of UT61E+ and use special multimeter fuses.

I have the + version with the "closed" socket holes.
Could you recommand me fuses that are "multimeter" oriented instead of mains ?  :)

Do yourself a favour: don’t touch it.
There is nothing to be upgraded.

Agreed. If you don't trust the manufacturer, get a better unit.

UT61+ is also not as good as a DMM could be.
The posted picture with the fuse already looks much better then I would expect of a DMM in that price class.

Note there are (more expensive) DMM's with CAT IV ratings, but do note that this is ONLY relevant if you are actually doing CAT IV measurements. And that is before the mains fuses in your house. To reach that, you would have to break some seals in the metering box. And nobody in their right mind would use an UT61+ in those circumstances. For any household measurements your UT61+ is just fine.
