Want to be a professional inventor?

Hi everyone, my company is hiring for graduate level professional inventors who have a background in EE or telecoms.  We're a software and services company that has developed machine learning technology which augments and enhances - or amplifies - the human ability to invent.  Our customers include many well known large companies in market sectors ranging from nutrition through FMCG through telecoms through electronic devices.  If inventing with the help of "AI" sounds a bit far fetched, I can also add that we have been developing our technology since 2010, and using AI since 2015

Thanks to the huge surge of interest that ChatGPT and the like kicked off, we're growing rapidly and hiring for "Invention engineers" who will use our software to create inventions for our customers.  The job can be based out of our offices in London or Cambridge.  You typically will have 2(i) or higher in a EE, telecoms or related subject and above all be (i) curious about technology and the way things work (e.g. like taking stuff apart ) , (ii) have an intuitive knowledge of technology (e.g. have a good and accurate gut feel for the way a circuit or system works by looking at the circuit diagram) and (iii) be driven and passionate about EE and telecoms and tech (e.g. think about nothing else, day and night !).

I've got to ask: do you guys actually invent anything or just tell the customers what they need to invent?

From your website and description it looks like it's just trying to spot what the next big thing in a sector is for your clients so that they can do the legwork.

Also, not that I'm interested, but you haven't even claimed "competitive salary", let alone suggested a range.

Hi Slh,

Yes we do create "proper" technical inventions - creating technical inventions that can drive new products and be protected through patents is at the heart of our business.  As inventing is intrinsically about the future - all inventions typically take at least one year or very often longer to get to market - we usually invent in areas that we or our customers believe have the potential to be valuable.  However we also create inventions that have the potential to become the best solutions for existing high value problems too.  Our invention areas range from 3GPP 5G through to things like safety and entertainment systems for self driving vehicles through to even control systems for small modular nuclear reactors. But we also invent in non tech areas to - ranging from FMCG through nutrition through to sports shoes.

Being HQ'd in Switzerland, we also know how to pay competitive salaries too
