System Engineer with Analog background need in San Jose

We are looking for a system engineer with analog background to work on a e-beam system, also know as scanning electron microscope.

The following skills are required.


OrCAD/Allegro schematic capture and layout. Be able to do a 4-layer board layout independently
Basic knowledge on how to run LabVIEW program and be able to write simple data analysis code in LabVIEW
Be able to do some SMD rework (0805 or bigger)
Feedback loop compensation
Low noise measurement
Experience with high speed system with bandwidth up to 100 MHz


PhD/MS in related field are preferred, but not required.

A classic example of how not to write a job advertisement. You've listed some required skills, but you've omitted to say what the job entails. What do you want them to DO? "work on an e-beam system" isn't exactly specific.

From what you've listed it looks like a technician's job,  but you're asking for MS/PhD - no make sense. You'll need to put a lot more work into the job description if you want to get a bite from anybody at all - the technicians will see PhD and ignore you, the people with doctorates will see a technician job and ignore you.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?
