Looking for someone to provide test engineering support on second or third shift, the job would entail maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production test systems and fixtures, troubleshoot production assemblies down to component level using benchtop test equipment, analyze nonconforming products to determine the cause of failure, also responsible for product quality assurance and documentation. Works without immediate technical supervision on shift.
• In-depth understands of electronic theory, both digital and analog
• Basic working knowledge of a programing language, be willing to learn LabView
• proficient in skills needed to rework SMT PCB defects (would be a plus, but we can provide training inhouse)
• Proficient in test measurement and troubleshooting techniques on electronic systems, assemblies, and subassemblies
• Interpret, and comprehend schematics, mechanical drawing, datasheets, and functional specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works individually and in a team environment
• Able to work overtime when needed
