Good graduate job going in Wollongong, Australia (South of Sydney)

Before anyone asks, yes, I've cleared this with Dave

There has been talk of "one man band" jobs in the electronics industry- This has the potential to be just that.
A friend of mine is looking to employ an graduate or experienced engineer in his business. Associate engineers are most welcome to apply, as are those with appropriate experience.

The company, Hyper Engineering is based in Wollongong, NSW. They develop single and poly phase motor soft-starts and other power electronics products- My friend is looking for something of a protégé, to develop the product, liaise with customers, and generally be THE engineer.

Other benefits would include the location- Wollongong is really nice, smaller city. Things tend to be a little more relaxed here than in Sydney. Property is affordable on normal wages, without selling your soul to the bank for the rest of eternity. Sydney is within easy reach by road or rail. It's a good spot!

If this had come along this time next year, I'd have been putting my hand up for it- It's a 5 minute bike ride from my house! Unfortunately, I've yet to get enough education into my head to really meet the requirements for this role.
