We are a small growing company that has over the last 5 years begun development of our own products. Mainly LED Displays, Radar systems and low power wireless triggers.

Working with our external contractor we are looking for an embedded electronics engineer to provide the interface to our internal production engineer.

Ideally you will have :-

Experience with Microchip PIC micro controllers
(micro controller experience essential).

Experience with the C language and compilers (the XC8 and XC16 family specifically).

Ability to read and analyze schematic circuit diagrams.

General fault diagnosis / soldering skills on surface mount PCBs useful.

Maintain technical information files to a high specification.

We also develop using the Microchip WIFI module, so develop using Java, HTML as require would be an advantage.

If this is of interest to you please get in touch.

Hi SmileySID,

This sounds just like my kind of thing. Are you still looking for someone?

Is it possible to work remotely? I am from Jordan. I have used PIC MCUs with no problem (with xc compiler ofc).

Similar to what I used to do with my old company.

Let me clarify, you are looking for someone to liaise with your sub contractor?

Does that mean all of your current designs are done by a contractor rather than in house?

We are seeking to employ someone to work in house. We have and are using external contractors and wish to move away from this.

If you are interested please contact jobs(at)traffictechnology.co.uk
