Hello,

My company is looking for a few junior engineers to help grow the team, work is 2 days office and 3 days work from home.
Only folks with the right to work in the UK please, as we cannot sponsor.

Junior grads or hobbyists are certainly welcome. Just need enthusiasm for electronics and high motivation to learn and improve. If we see potential we will be interested.

Location: Exeter, Devon

Junior Firmware Engineer

•   Proven ability to write structured embedded firmware using ‘C’ for RTOS and ‘Bare Metal’ implementations.
•   Methodical approach to problem solving
•   Good understanding of ‘Bare Metal’ and RTOS implementation
•   understanding of a range of technologies including communications protocols, analogue measurement techniques, digital, wireless and micro-controllers.
o   8-bit to 32-bit microcontrollers such as Renesas Synergy & RX, Atmel AVR, STM Cortex M0
o   Peripheral Interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, 1-wire
o   Communications such as CAN, RS485/RS232, Ethernet.
o   Version Control
o   Analogue to Digital measurement techniques.
o   Wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and IEEE802.15.4 based systems.
o   Low-power & battery operated devices
•   Understanding of electronics circuit operation and use of test equipment
•   Experience of a general electronics design

Junior Electronics Engineer
•   Design of Analogue and Digital circuits
•   Minimum of 2 years’ experience schematic capture and PCB layout ideally using Altium.
•   Supporting EMC testing and following guidelines for RFI in circuit design
•   Circuit design and verification using Spice software / breadboarding (eval kit modifications and prototyping)
•   CAD experience (using 3D files to design circuits into)
•   Understanding of programming techniques that can be applied to embedded electronics, PC and test scripts.
•   Understanding of a range of technologies including analogue, digital, wireless and micro-controllers.
o   Communications such as CAN, RS485/RS232, Ethernet.
o   Wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and IEEE802.15.4 based systems.
o   Microcontrollers: Renesas Synergy & RX, Atmel AVR, STM Cortex M0
o   Peripheral Interfaces: SPI, I2C, 1-wire
o   Analogue to Digital measurement techniques.
o   High performance analogue amplifiers and filters
o   Power supply design for battery and vehicle powered systems
•   Work on own initiative, self-motivating
•   Communicate well with internal and external people
