USA: Remote – Contract PCB Designer Wanted for IoT Speaker Project

Hello,

I’m seeking a contract PCB designer to assist with a project to create a custom board integrating the Particle P2 module and DFPlayer Mini for playing alert sounds through a speaker. The device will be used in coffee shops to notify staff of incoming orders.

The key responsibilities include:
   •   Designing a PCB that consolidates the Particle P2, DFPlayer Mini, an amplifier, and power supply components.
   •   Selecting a suitable amplifier and 6–10W speaker for clear audio in noisy environments.
   •   Adding connectors for external components (e.g., speaker, buttons, power input) to streamline assembly.
   •   Ensuring stable power distribution for all components (primary power: 12V DC).
   •   Including a u.FL connector for optional external antenna use.

Bonus:
If you have experience with enclosure design, that’s a huge plus! I’m looking for a compact, professional housing (e.g., cube-like with rounded edges) that can accommodate the PCB and speaker, with vents, mounting points, and openings for external components.

Ideal Candidate:
   •   Strong experience in PCB design and layout for IoT and audio systems.
   •   Familiarity with power circuits (step-down regulators) and audio amplifiers.
   •   Knowledge of integrating Particle modules or similar IoT platforms.
   •   Experience with enclosure design (optional but highly desirable).
