Lazy s*d ;D
I just tried to set a footprint from eeschema on V5.rc2 and couldn't see any filters at all, just the whole list of footprints in the library :-[

In KiCad V4.07 i have 3 buttons in cvpvb which allow me to filter the libs. As seen in the attachment.
But i think for the Keywordfilter it is required to set the symbol in the library correctly.

Hehe, I have my excuses for being lazy, the sound good to me at least!  :-DD

It's not a deal breaker, but I think that is one useful feature that CvPCB has over the EESCHEMA assignment tool, shame they can't add it to V5, perhaps for RC3?  Are there any KiCad dev's in here who can say if this is a warranted suggestion or just me being fussy?

Thanks for looking btw!  :-+

I'm no KiCad dev, but i think that's a good suggestion. I would love to have the same filterstuff (or even more :) ) in Eeschema.
I even think you could maybe bring it on at one of the KiCad-guys. I'm pretty sure they like this kind of feedback and don't bite.
