Title: Layer color is different than the actual layer selected
Post by: travis_the_maker on November 26, 2020, 07:41:01 pm
Thoughts on what might be happening here? https://streamable.com/ita6wa

I thought I might have corrupted the file so I made a new board drawing and the same thing is happening when I try and change the layer.

The red color indicates, that you are creating text in the front copper layer.

You need to select F.Silk layer (blue) first, then create the text.

Edit. watched it again and see what you're getting at. But I think it's just a case of order matters, select layer, then create object.

I can see some text jumping around on a (probably) 2speed video, without any explanation of your intention, and I'm not in the mood for guesswork.

Can you explain what you want to do?
It would make it a lot easier to provide a solution that works for you.
