Title: Local KiCad User Group (Switzerland)
Post by: homebrew on April 30, 2018, 08:05:09 pm
Would anybody be interested in a local KiCad users group?

I've experienced this type of community concept in terms of Linux user groups, which was always great fun.
We had weekly meetings with one topic per evening presented by one of the members followed by discussions for the rest of the evening.

For a KiCad user group, we could have a similar setup. There are many topics in PCB design that would be worth discussing and sharing. Such a group could also be a place for in-depth design reviews and general exchange on electronic design.

As one general benefit, we could have recurring newbie evenings for hands-on introductions.

What do you think?
