Title: Please help identify KiCad footprint size for Aishi 100uF SMD cap
Post by: newtekuser on January 01, 2024, 11:42:04 pm
Cap has a diameter of 6.3mm, does it mean I should be ok using any of the 6.3 footprints? I see that some have slightly different spacing but looks negligible.

Hi @newtekuser

The spacing of all those is the same. The 2nd dimension is how tall they are.  The actual footprints will be probably common, but the 3D model of each may vary to display a more accurate representation of the populated PCB

Cheers, Geoff
