Title: Schematic sheet not showing in project viewer
Post by: Hawaka on February 11, 2022, 08:54:29 pm
Hello,

I was following this tutorial, and I noticed that when I created a hierarchical sheet it does not appears in the project browser (like at 1:40 in the video), neither does the "multisheet-cache" file. Is this normal with KiCad version 6.0.1? Hierarchical sheet works fine in my project, and the files do exist in the project folder.

It's kind of a bummer not to see which sheet you have in your design at first glance in the project viewer.

If your design is hierarchical with a top level that instantiates the lower levels, the only sheet that appears in the project manager window is that top level.

Even in 5.1 only the top sheet appears in the project browser. In general take old videos with a large grain of salt as things have changed.
