Thanks to your "review" videos on KiCad I found a nice replacement for my frustrations with Eagle  :P

I had some experience with Orcad & Ultiboard in the late 80's so I am not biased very much and KiCad looks really nice.

So thank you for bringing that to my attention (I'm doing catch-up with your EEV Blog I just recently discovered).

Oh and I totally dig the Components to Modules (Footprints) functionality. It allows you (me) to easily upgrade from DIP prototypes to SMD production boards. Brilliant!
