6j1 fever preamplifier buffer
« on: March 09, 2019, 12:02:27 am »
Hallo everyone!
First time I post something here. I am wondering does anybody has this little Chinese thing 6j1 pre amplifier and if has an annoying  hum audio noise . No matter how hard I tried to get rid of this noise is still there! The only improvement I had was when I turned off the LEDs under  the tubes (removing resistors) and connected heater tubes  powered by a stabilized ps . I bought the kit from https://www.ebay.com/itm/6J1-Valve-Preamp-Tube-PreAmplifier-Board-Headphone-Amplifier-Buffer-Acrylic-Case/272645558253?hash=item3f7af10fed:g:~2AAAOSwlulbXuV1

I found the problem finally . The resistor of anode was not the right value which adjusts the gain of tube. The right value fixed the problem  :P
